To extend the SAP MDG Business Partner search result list, customize the standard result configuration BS_BP_QUERY_RESULT and use a feeder that raises the FPM event BP_SELECTED with the selected Business Partner ID in event parameter PARTNER. The detailed area is then displayed through a separate Web Dynpro/FPM component and composite UIBB configuration YY_SEARCH_RESULT_DETAILS.
Process flow
- Customize BS_BP_QUERY_RESULT.
- Implement or replace the feeder with YY_CL_BS_BP_QUERY_RESULT.
- Raise BP_SELECTED and pass PARTNER.
- Create Web Dynpro component ZMDG_SEARCH_RSLT_DET_CUS.
- Implement IF_FPM_TRANSACTION and IF_FPM_UI_BUILDING_BLOCK.
- Build view MAIN and window W_DETAILS.
- Map context nodes CUST and CUST_CC.
