Process flow
- Confirm the scope: SAP MDG 9.0+ and SAP S/4HANA 1610–1909 only.
- Define the customer-namespace table ZKMITAB and reference Material with MATNR.
- Do not use MDG Flex tables.
- Choose the scenario: Central Governance + Consolidation/Mass Processing, or Consolidation/Mass Processing only.
- If needed, complete the prerequisite Central Governance Material custom-node extension first.
- For standalone processing, enhance CMD_BS_MAT_S_MAT_DATA and implement CMD_BS_MAT_API_SEGMENTS_EXT.
- Create ZCL_MDC_DATA_MAT inheriting from CL_MDC_DATA_MAT.
- Open MDCIMG > Specify Process Model and select Business Object Type 194. Add ZKMITAB under Tables and mark Process. Select MARA under Joins and add ZKMITAB with Process and Active. Maintain Join Fields and save. Generate artifacts for ZKMIT
