This guide shows how to extend MDG Finance data model 0G for an existing Cost Center UIBB. The example adds two fields, ZZBUSUNIT and ZZEMAIL, by creating the DDIC objects in SE11, enhancing entity CCTR in MDGIMG, generating the model-specific structures, and then placing the fields on the UIBB via an enhancement layer in SE80.
Process flow
- Create the DDIC domain in SE11.
- Create the DDIC data element in SE11 and assign the domain.
- Open MDGIMG and add the attributes to entity CCTR in data model 0G.
- Save and activate the data model.
- Generate the data model-specific structures.
- Open SE80 and enhance component configuration MDGF_0G_CCTR.
- Create a new enhancement layer.
- Add a new group such as Additional Fields and place ZZBUSUNIT and ZZEMAIL into it.
