How do I test an SAP MDG Profit Center update initiated by a requestor and approved by the MDG team?
Use the Fiori app Manage Profit center - Governance to update the Profit Center, submit the change request, approve it in My Change Requests Monitoring, and verify the updated data in Manage Profit Center Master Data after replication.
Use the Fiori app Manage Profit center - Governance to update the Profit Center, submit the change request, approve it in My Change Requests Monitoring, and verify the updated data in Manage Profit Center Master Data after replication.
Use the Fiori app Manage Profit center - Governance to search for the existing Profit Center, edit the details, address, and company code assignments, then run Check and submit the change request. The approver can open the CR from the email link or from My Change Requests Monitoring, approve it, and finally the updated Profit Center can be verified in Manage Profit Center Master Data.
Process flow
- Log in to Fiori launchpad with the Profit center Requestor user.
- Open Manage Profit center - Governance.
- Search for the Profit Center by ID or name.
- Select the Profit Center to update.
- Edit Profit center details UIBB and change department and person responsible.
- Edit Profit center address UIBB and update Name3.
- Edit Profit center company code assignments UIBB and assign/unassign company codes.
- Run Check and confirm no validation errors are returned, or resolve the errors shown on top of the page. Submit the Change Request and ensure it is routed to the Profit center approver with status To be considered and approved. Log in as,
