How do I configure and run an SAP MDG Material Creation workflow initiated by an approver with final approval by the MDG team?

The standard MDG material creation flow starts in Manage Material Master Governance, where the approver/requestor creates a new change request, maintains general and material master details, performs Save and Check, and submits the request. The request is then processed in My Change Requests Monitoring by the assigned material approver, who validates the data and approves it for final activation.
Process flow
- Log on to Fiori Launchpad with the MM Approver/Requestor user.
- Open Manage Material Master Governance.
- Create a new Material Master change request.
- Enter the change request description and maintain general details.
- Maintain material details such as Base UoM, Material type, Material Group, and Description.
- Verify material number derivation after entering the material group.
- Enter Plant/Valuation data where applicable.
- Check that default values such as Purchasing group, Storage location, and Purchasing value are derived where configured.
