How can I enhance the MDG consistency check with a customer-specific enrichment that asks the user for input during Check?
Use the Single Processing UI, configure the Change Request type and enrichment spot, then implement an adapter, feeder, and Web Dynpro popup so that pressing Check opens user interaction and returns the selected value to the MDG field.
Use the Single Processing UI, configure the Change Request type and enrichment spot, then implement an adapter, feeder, and Web Dynpro popup so that pressing Check opens user interaction and returns the selected value to the MDG field.
To enhance the MDG consistency check with user interaction, configure the scenario in `MDGIMG`, assign a Change Request type such as `SFCMH01` with workflow `WS54300020`, and implement an enrichment adapter plus feeder. In the guide’s example, the Single Processing UI (`usmd_entity_value2`) triggers the enrichment when the user clicks Check, shows a popup with selectable URL entries from `ZMH_AIRLINE_URL`, and transfers the selected value back to the MDG field on OK.
Process flow
- Use the Single Processing UI for the target MDG object.
- Create or process a Change Request configured for the enrichment.
- Press Check.
- Let MDG call the enrichment adapter during consistency check.
- Show a Web Dynpro popup with selectable values.
- Return the selected value on OK or keep the current value on Cancel.
- Prevent a second popup by checking `c_last_user_action = 'ENRI'`.
- Configure the enrichment spot in `MDGIMG`.
MDGIMGChange Request Type configuration
Create and assign the example Change Request type `SFCMH01` and link it to workflow `WS54300020`.
MDGIMGEnrichment spot configuration
Define the enrichment spot, assign the feeder class, adapter class, and Web Dynpro component, and set Relevant = true and Execution = Always executed.
MDGIMGChange Request step assignment
Assign the enrichment spot to the required Change Request/workflow steps and ensure processors are maintained for testing.
