This guide covers enhanced integration of CRM with Master Data Governance for Customers in a CRM/ERP data-exchange scenario (CRM@MDG), and it also covers integration of MDG with provider transactions. It applies to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6, MDG 6.1 or higher, and SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA. Up to MDG 6.1, CRM integration was limited to receiving-client or CRM-Middleware-based setups; from MDG 7.0 and SAP S/4HANA 1511, CRM-specific data such as sales, shipping, billing, tax indicators, and partner functions is supported via an MDG hub between CRM and ERP.
